A Message from the Dean:
Greetings! It is my pleasure to present the annual Impact Report for the College of Social Sciences (CoSS) at San José State University!
Thank you for taking the time to read about our accomplishments this year and for your interest in CoSS!
As a longtime faculty member in CoSS, I have long admired the innovation of my faculty colleagues, particularly in the areas of student mentorship, research, and engagement. This year’s impact report shows how students and faculty in CoSS are transforming our understanding of our world and ourselves.
It has been an exciting year, and we are thrilled to share a snapshot of our work with you in these pages. Just as I shared last year, I am grateful for our CoSS community: students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners, and supporters. Connection and belonging are commonly held values across CoSS, resonating throughout our vision, mission, and strategic priorities. In the coming year, I am looking forward to building on our strong partnerships by reconnecting with more alumni and strengthening community ties.
